CPS IR uses response pads and a receiver to capture instant data from your students. This system is durable, portable, and comes with a lifetime warrantee.

The student response pads or “clickers” are small, handheld devices that are easy for students of any age to use. With eight alphabetical buttons, students can answer multiple-choice questions and navigate through student-managed assessments.

The IR receiver connects directly to your computer’s USB port. Since it is small, light, and easy to install, CPS IR is easily transported from room to room.

CPS IR is ideal for a classroom of about 64 students. The response pad operates on two AAA batteries. The battery life, with normal usage, will extend beyond a year.

System Requirements

Requirements for PC:

  • Intel Pentium II or higher processor
  • One available USB port
  • A minimum of 256 MB RAM
  • At least 300 MB of hard drive space for CPS software; databases may require more hard drive space
  • Microsoft® Windows® 2000 with Service Pack 4, Windows XP Professional or Home Edition with Service Pack 1, or Windows XP Professional or Home Edition with Service Pack 2
  • Screen resolution of 800x600 or higher
  • Projection system, i.e. projector, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), or TV (recommended, but not required)

Requirements for Mac:

  • Mac OS 10.3.9 or higher, PowerPC G3 300 MHz or better processor, including Intel
  • 256 MB of physical RAM (512 MB recommended)
  • 200 MB of free hard disk space
  • One available USB port
  • 800 x 600 display, thousands of colors or better
